Drills For Skills
Drills For Skills Sports Training has a mission to Create I.M.P.A.C.T. in the community. Our program offers three essential components to keep out youth active, injury free and healthy. The youth who receive the opportunity to experience our fitness/wellness programs are positively IMACTED mentally, emotionally as well as physically. Our goal in any of our programs is to leave our youth SWEATY, SMILEY, & SMARTER.
Our Fitness portion of the program offers many exercises and activities to keep our youth moving, flexible and injury free. All exercises in group sessions are progression based and start from very basic form functional movements. Our youth participate in team/group activities and exercises as well. Our team and grouped activities are created to stimulate the competitive willingness in our youth, as well as improve their social skills in life. While participating in a Drills For Skills Sports training program, our youth benefit from Strength gains, Cardiovascular Endurance, Coordination, and most of all FUN.
Our Wellness portion of the program offers a positive way of thinking and living segment. Our youth are informed of ways on challenging theirs minds in order to feel better about themselves. They are also taught how to positively get through challenging situations. This segment is intended to build self-esteem, confidence and critical thinking skills. The knowledge in this segment is distributed to our youth through Topic of Discussion handouts and verbal communication.
Our Nutritional portion of the program offers a healthy and safe way to eat. Our youth will learn about how different foods affect the body different. They will also learn what important nutrients the body needs to function for activity. Our youth will receive such valuable knowledge through verbal communication and informative handouts.
Our youth program offered is packaged into a 1 hour session of the requested amount of sessions purchased. They will receive one on one attention at times from a Certified Personal Trainers and Life Coaches. The Drills For Skills Sports Training program activities are created with the effort to ensure our youth grow into Happy, Healthy, Pain free adults in the future.
