NJ Child Abuse / Neglect Hotline

All reports of child abuse and neglect, including those occurring in institutional settings such as child care centers, schools, foster homes and residential treatment centers, must be reported to the State Central Registry (SCR). This is a toll-free, 24-hour, seven-days-a-week hotline.

NJ Department of Children and Families (DCF)

Oversees all child welfare services in New Jersey including: Division of Youth and Family Services, Division of Child Behavioral Health Services & the Division of Prevention and Community Partnerships.

NJ Department of Education, Division of Early Childhood Education

The Division of Early Childhood Education (DECE) of the New Jersey Department of Education has programmatic responsibility for preschool through 3rd grade (PK3) programs. Working with PK3 programs across the DOE, the Division of Early Childhood Education is responsible for the development, implementation, and alignment of program components with a focus on standards, curricula, and assessment.

NJ FamilyCare is a federal and state funded health insurance program created to help New Jersey families provide affordable health coverage for their dependent children.

The NJ Helps DHS Services Home Page is designed to give consumers a one-stop shopping resource for the wide range of programs and services provided by the Department of Human Services and its partners, to assist individuals, families and communities in New Jersey.

NJ Medicaid

Medicaid provides health insurance to parents/caretakers and dependant children, pregnant women, and people who are aged, blind or disabled. These programs pay for hospital services, doctor visits, prescriptions, nursing home care and other healthcare needs, depending on what program a person is eligible for.

NJ SNAP-Ed (Rutgers Cooperative Extension)

The NJ SNAP-Ed program, implemented by the Department of Family and Community Health Sciences (FCHS) at Rutgers Cooperative Extension in Camden County, is a nutrition and physical activity program that teaches youth, adults, families, and older adults how to make healthy, budget-friendly food choices and be more physically active.

Kids in the top 5% in their schools get free tuition at a Community College and then a NJ Stars 2 Program to continue kids at the top of their Community College class to go onto a state 4 year school

NJ Yellow Pages for Kids with Disabilities

Find educational consultants, psychologists, educational diagnosticians, health care providers, academic therapists, tutors, speech language therapists, occupational therapists, coaches, advocates, and attorneys for children with disabilities on the Yellow Pages for Kids for your state. You will also find special education schools, learning centers, treatment programs, parent groups, respite care, community centers, grassroots organizations, and government programs for children with disabilities.

NLC Support

NLC Support is a New Jersey Support Coordination Agency offering support coordination in Atlantic, Bergen, Burlington, Essex, Hudson, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Passaic, Somerset and Union counties.
