The MRC Sports Unity Program allows children of all abilities, ages 5-21, to participate in team sports. The program is free to participants and includes all the equipment needed to play. We have 8 sessions throughout the school year, including soccer, baseball/softball, street hockey, basketball, football, cheerleading, and track.
Each athlete is paired with a teenage buddy who helps them through the skills and drills needed to learn and master a particular sport. Players are assigned fields based on ability and progress through the program at their own rate. We accept players from all over the Philadelphia/Southern Jersey region.
Each session lasts about 1 hour and typically occurs on Monday and Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings.
We have an adult program for older athletes to stay in shape and make friends. There are 6 sessions throughout the year, including bowling, kickball, volleyball, basketball, pickleball, and swim.
Sponsors, coaches, and buddies are always needed.
