NJ Sharing Network proudly serves as our state’s federally-designated, 501(c)3 nonprofit organ procurement organization (OPO). Established in 1987, we steward the gift of life through the recovery and placement of donated organs and tissue for those in need of a lifesaving transplant. We also provide a strong network of care and support for the courageous donor families who help save lives through the gift of donation. Our team members, volunteers and healthcare and community partners share a passion and commitment to saving and enhancing lives. We operate 24/7/365 to recover and place donated organs and tissue, support donor families, honor the legacy of those who gave the gift of life and raise awareness about the power of organ donation and transplantation.
We honor and support every family who makes the courageous decision to donate at the time of their loved one's passing. In their time of sorrow, these families gave the gift of life to others in need. While we cannot take away the pain of their loss, we strive to provide services that will promote healing during the difficult journey that lies ahead.
By working with our hospital partners, we realize our mutual goal of saving and enhancing lives through the identification, referral and care of potential organ and tissue donors. We provide educational programs and resources to the public, healthcare professionals, faith leaders, schools and corporate partners to increase awareness and knowledge about organ and tissue donation.
