South Jersey Behavioral Health Resources (SJBHR)

South Jersey Behavioral Health Resources, Inc. (SJBHR) has been providing behavioral health services to adults, children, and families for over 25 years. The services provided include Residential, Outpatient (OP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Adult Partial Care (APC), and Homeless Services.

OUTPATIENT SERVICES PROGRAM
The Outpatient Program offers behavioral health services to assist individuals in identifying and stabilizing their symptoms to enable them to live fulfilling independent lives in the community.

CHILDREN’S OUTPATIENT SERVICES PROGRAM
South Jersey Behavioral Health Resources provides individual and family-based therapy services to children and adolescents ages 5-17 who suffer from a wide variety of emotional and behavioral issues that are affecting them at home and/or in school.

COSTAR HOMELESS PROGRAM
COSTAR (Community Outreach Service for Treatment Advocacy and Rehabilitation) is a PATH program that provides services to homeless adults who also suffer from mental illness. The program has a drop-in center, provides individualized services, and does outreach to homeless individuals wherever there is a need.
The drop-in center is open to all homeless adults with mental illness. The drop-in center provides a refuge from the weather, opportunities to socialize, refreshments and snacks, a washer and dryer for cleaning clothes, and a shower.

ADULT PARTIAL CARE PROGRAM (APC)
The Adult Partial Care (APC) Program is a therapeutic day treatment program that provides services and skills training to individuals with serious and persistent mental illness, or with co-occurring disorders of mental illness and substance abuse. Service plans are individualized to meet the unique needs of each person and incorporate each person’s goal for improving quality of life. The approach and philosophy of APC are founded on evidence-based practice and built on the philosophy of wellness and recovery. 

RESIDENTIAL SERVICES
The Residential Services Program at South Jersey Behavioral Health Resources, Inc. (SJBHR) is a 24/7 program that provides residential options and supportive services to adults diagnosed with mental illness. Service plans are individualized and developed with the consumer’s full participation, empowering the consumer to choose goals based on their preferences, strengths, interests, and abilities. The program provides the support, services, and skills training that consumers need to achieve their goals in a setting that instills hope and respects each person’s dignity and right to self-determination.
