Promoting healthy, safe, and drug-free lifestyles. We seek to reduce substance abuse and the social problems that result from it!

Prevention Plus has been designated as the Prevention Resource Center for Burlington County by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services. The Resource Center provides a free video loan library featuring over 200 videotapes on various Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs (ATOD) and related topics, offers an extensive selection of curricula, books, informative brochures and pamphlets on a wide variety of wellness related topics as well as maintaining a directory of community resources for ATOD treatment and prevention services. The items in stock vary throughout the year. To maximize our ability to provide you with bulk quantities, requests should be made four to six weeks prior to the date of your event. Our staff is also available to assist educators, service providers and community groups working on prevention projects by suggesting scientifically based curricula, providing resource materials, and recommending activities and strategies to enhance prevention programs.

Prevention Plus educates the community that addiction is a disease that is both preventable and treatable, and offers programs designed to equip children, youth and adults with the skills and knowledge necessary to make healthy lifestyle choices. We offer staff development and training to community agencies in order to enhance the ability of the Burlington County community to address the full range of needs of our diverse population. We utilize state-of-the-art resources tied to research-based, exemplary practices. We are committed to replace the denial and lack of understanding about substance abuse with accurate information concerning the symptoms, effects and treatment of addiction.
